Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are to be turned into dolls for a new toy range based on their wedding in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. The two actors, who are a real life couple, are to be the feature of a new set of Twilight toys released by Barbie
manufacturer Mattel, reported Contactmusic.

The pair will be miniaturised wearing the same outfits they don at their wedding as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

The dolls will be released in February and will be unveiled alongside a shirtless Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black and each doll will be priced at USD 29.95.

The couple are not the first celebrities to be turned into a special wedding doll, Pippa Middleton, the sister of Britain’s Duchess Catherine, was turned into a tiny model donning the Alexander McQueen dress she wore to her sibling’s nuptials to Prince William last year.

Manufacturers Herobuilders.com also offer a model of Kate Middleton in her own McQueen gown.

The “Twilight” takeover of late night continues as Kristen Stewart’s pre-taped interview with Jimmy Kimmel hit the broadcast airwaves last night. The 21-year-old looked effortlessly flawless as she chatted about her recent imprint ceremony and all the steaminess on the set of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.”

A common thread among “Twilight” talk show appearances in the past week has been Kristen, Rob and Taylor’s ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Each of them left their own unique mark. Taylor’s were deep, Rob’s were sideways, and although Kristen showed up to the event in heels, she switched to her signature Vans for the imprint.

“If you’re going to make something forever you should be yourself,” she explained.

And that is something Kristen is never afraid of being—herself. In fact, some scenes from “Twilight” had to be regulated after Kristen insisted the sex scene be more explicit. Ooh, la, la! And Kristen apparently hates the words “love-making” and would rather you use “sex-humping.” Man! It’s always the quiet ones…

But Kristen said emotions ran high during the wedding scene for her. “It felt too real almost,” she said. “It was coming to the end of the whole series, and maybe it feels like this at normal weddings, but it wasn’t just about me and him. It was like, ‘God, you guys. Good job.’ You know what I mean? Like we made it. So it felt great. It felt like a real ceremony, it was weird.”

During the interview, Kristen also admitted that discovering her love of acting was simple. “It was really more of a fun thing. My parents are in the business so I was like, ‘Yeah I see kids on the set, I can do that.’ And I sang a dreidel song.”

And the rest was history.

Kristen Stewart makes an appearance on Conan on Thursday (November 17).

The 21-year-old actress promoted her new flick, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and also chatted about living in London while she films Snow White and the Huntsman.

“I’ve had the most indulgent experience,” Kristen recently told reporters (via People) about filming the action flick with Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron.

“We had a lot of pre-production and I really got close with the director [Rupert Sanders] and Chris and everything, so I’m having a great time!” she added.

Kristen Stewart is currently in “advanced talks” to star in “Akira,” based on the Japanese graphic novel. If things pan out, the “Twilight” star would play the female lead, Kei, Deadline Hollywood reports.

The news was first reported by TwitchFilm, who added that Stewart could join her “On the Road” co-star Garrett Hedlund in the movie, as well as Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter, who are also rumored to be starring in the adaptation. In Katsuhiro Otomo’s manga, Kei is “a young medium who becomes the love interest for [Hedlund's] Kaneda.”

Deadline further reported that the film has been a high priority for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures for about two years now. Jaume Collet-Serra is set to direct the two films based on the three graphic novels. (“Akira” was previously adapted for the big screen in 1988 as an animated flick.)

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Collet-Serra flicks would revolve around two brothers living in a place called New Manhattan. One brother, Kaneda, is a motorcycle gang leader, while his younger brother has telekinetic powers that can be used as a weapon. Stewart’s Kei would be involved in an underground movement trying to expose the government.

Should Stewart take the role, it could mark the third franchise on her growing résumé. On Friday, the first of those franchises nears its end with the release of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” The last of the two-part finale hits theaters in 2012. She’s currently filming “Snow White and the Huntsman,” which also has series potential.

Kristen Stewart misses being on the Twilight set with Taylor Lautner because the pair have such a strong bond.

The 21-year-old actress got close to her co-star while filming the vampire movies and although they no longer see each other as frequently as they used to, Kristen makes sure they keep in touch as much as possible by phone and email.

She said: “When I don’t see Taylor for a while I take out my phone and call him. It’s not like I see him all the time or every day, it’s just that when you work with people like that, you can give so much. It’s so comfortable, you can do no wrong – they’ve got you. We get along together and I think it shows.”

Kristen – who is dating her on screen Twilight lover Robert Pattinson – insists she is close to all her castmates and she doesn’t think she could have made the five movies in the series if they didn’t all get on so well.

She explained: “I couldn’t have done this without them. I can’t imagine what this movie would have been if I didn’t have really solid – and always growing – relationships with them.”

“The Twilight Saga” has staked out another huge opening with a $139.5 million first weekend domestically and a worldwide launch of $283.5 million.

The domestic total gives “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1″ the second-best debut weekend for the franchise, after the $142.8 million launch for 2009′s “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” ”Breaking Dawn” did more than half of its business, $72 million, on opening day Friday, while the movie’s debut weekend was the fifth-best on record.

Opening in 54 overseas markets, “Breaking Dawn” pulled in $144 million internationally, according to studio estimates Sunday.

But the Warner Bros. dancing penguin sequel “Happy Feet 2″ stumbled in its debut, pulling in just $22 million over opening weekend. That’s barely half what the first film in the animated franchise earned in its 2006 opening.

The comparison is even worse considering the original did not have the sequel’s price advantage for 3-D screenings, which cost a few dollars more than 2-D shows.

The previous weekend’s No. 1 movie, Relativity Media’s action tale “Immortals,” fell to third-place with $12.3 million, raising its domestic haul to $53 million.

George Clooney had a great start with Fox Searchlight’s comic drama “The Descendants,” which broke into the top-10 despite playing in just a handful of theaters.

“The Descendants” finished at No. 10 with $1.2 million in 29 theaters, averaging a whopping $42,150 a cinema. That compares to an average of $34,351 in 4,061 theaters for “Breaking Dawn.”

Directed by Alexander Payne (“Sideways”), the film stars Clooney as a distressed dad tending to his daughters after his wife falls into a coma from a head injury. The film expands to about 400 theaters Wednesday.

In an industry whose main audience is young males, “Twilight” is a rare blockbuster franchise driven by female viewers. Distributor Summit Entertainment reported that women and girls made up 80 percent of the audience for “Breaking Dawn.”

The popularity of “Twilight” has left many men scratching their heads, even those involved in releasing the movies.

“I’m 53 years old, and I haven’t figured it out yet,” said Richie Fay, head of distribution for Summit. “It relates really to young girls and things that are important to them, their romantic ideas of love and relationships, without getting so physical, at least on screen, that it becomes a worry for their parents.”

“Breaking Dawn” has brooding teen Bella (Kristen Stewart) marrying vampire lover Edward (Robert Pattinson), whose family strikes an uneasy alliance with jealous werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) to protect the bride and the baby she’s carrying.

The movie’s big start points to even better business for next year’s “Breaking Dawn — Part 2,” the finale in the five-film series based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novels.

“Breaking Dawn” was a windfall for Hollywood in general, whose domestic revenues continue to trail 2010′s despite rosy projections last spring of a record box-office year.

Domestic business totaled $222 million, up 14 percent from the same weekend last year, when “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ led with $125 million, according to box-office tracker Hollywood.com.

The penguins of “Happy Feet 2″ were left in the cold compared with the big debut for the first film, a critical favorite that won the Academy Award for feature animation.

The sequel, featuring returning voice stars Elijah Wood and Robin Williams, received mixed to bad reviews. Still, Warner Bros. reported it earned high marks from audiences, which could keep it afloat in the coming weeks.

“We honestly feel we’ll pick up some steam and play some catch-up as we get into the holidays,” said Dan Fellman, head of distribution at Warner.

But the competition for family audiences turns intense in the next few days with Martin Scorsese’s youthful adventure “Hugo,” the musical comedy “The Muppets” and the animated holiday tale “Arthur Christmas” all opening Wednesday for the busy Thanksgiving weekend.

The newcomers, combined with “Breaking Dawn,” could lift Hollywood above the Thanksgiving record set in 2009, when “New Moon” paced the industry to a $273 million domestic haul from Wednesday to Sunday.

“This could be one of the greatest movie-going weekends ever in the midst of a year that has really had its ups and downs at the box office,” said Hollywood.com analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Where available, latest international numbers are also included. Final domestic figures will be released Monday.
